In 2000, Twipsy won the competition for the Hanover Expo. The virtue of this mascot is its cross-dressing, which enables it to represent the thematic parts of the Expo: Culture, Nature, Science… The animated series was suggested as a commercial product, apart from Expo 2000. The creation was by Mariscal, the script by Patty Marx and the production was done by Haffa Diebold in association with the Estudio Mariscal for EM.TV and Expo 2000 Hanover. It was sold in more than a hundred countries.
